Walkabout Drum - NAMM 2019

The Walkabout Drum is the body and waist of an unfinished guitar equipped to function like an ordinary cajon; it is strapped on over the chest like a guitar and slapped like cajon. This is a clever idea that allows the drummer or percussionist the freedom to move around the stage during a performance instead of being confined in the corner. The Walkabout Drum also features a built-in microphone and certain models come with an iBeam pickup with on-board volume and balance controls.
