Cristina Malakhai of Los Peces de Cristina plays host on Noisy Cavern.

We were fortunate enough to have met Cristina Malakhai during last year's Winter NAMM convention. The singer/songwriter and producer who hails from Barcelona, has the type of personality clearly meant to be showcased on camera. Noisy Cavern decided to give her the mic and allow her full control Sunday afternoon, and she didn't disappoint. Cristina interviewed many award-winning artists throughout the final day of the NAMM show.

Flamenco guitar player Luis Gallo was the first guest on the list. Cristina sat for a quick interview at the Godin Guitar Room where the many attendees were treated to a beautiful sounding impromptu session on stage. Luis has a busy schedule ahead of him which will keep him travelling around the world.

After a great performance on the Gibson stage Sunday afternoon, the Tijuana, Mexico pop-rock group, Delux, met with Cristina. The band, which is making a bit of a comeback, has brought in a new back end section comprised of new drummer Luis "Chocs" Campos and returning bass player, Nacho Rojas. having completed a new album after a 9-year hiatus, they will begin a world tour this year. Their energetic anthems are sure to satisfy old fans and gain some new ones a long the way.
