Fostex Introduces TM-2 Wireless Headphones at NAMM

Anaheim, CA, January 24, 2019 -- Fostex’s new TM-2 adds wireless freedom and earbud versatility to a long heritage of high-performance Fostex headphone technology dating back to the mid 1970’s. Listen through our high-performance Fostex 6mm dynamic driver earbuds or swap them with your favorite in-ears using an MMXC connector or optional CIEM Type 1 or 2 connectors. Bluetooth 5.0 using Qualcomm QCC3026 SoC gives the TM-2 an ultra-stable wireless connection to your phone, tablet or other Bluetooth device. A true “Wireless Plus” mode connects left and right directly with the host to eliminate drop-outs and you can use left or right independently (e.g., for phone calls). A “Music/Call” switch makes it easy to answer a phone call, then return to stereo listening and a Touch Sensor controls volume. An IOS or Android app adds a Touch-Panel Equalizer, Voice Assistant and “Landscape Sound” mode that blends environmental sound from your surroundings. The TM-2 is water resistant with an IPX5 rating. Its comfortable ear hooks fit various ear shapes and house long-life batteries that charge inside the included Cradle. The new TM-2 will be available in the United States starting in April of 2019, with a tentative USA street price of $299.
